Du’a Before Sleeping
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said,
“When anyone of you go to bed, he should shake out his bed with the inside of his waist sheet, for he does not know what has come on to it after him, and then he should say:
Bismika Rabbee wadha’tu janbee wabika arfa’u hu, fa-in amsakta nafsee farhamha, wa-in arsaltaha fah fadhha bima tahfadhu bihi Ibba dakas-saliheen
In Your name My Lord, I lie down and in Your name I rise, so if You should take my soul, then have mercy upon it, and if You should return my soul, then protect it in the manner You do so with Your righteous servants. (Bukhari)
