As Salaamu Alaikum,
I’d like to ask you when a non-Muslim gives me Salaam, what should I reply?
Al Jawaab Wa Billahi At-Tawfeeq,
When a non-muslim initiates the “Salaam”, then one should reply with “Wa Alaika”. It is not permitted for a Muslim to reply to the “Salaam” of a non-believer more than this.
