Alhamdulillah, the Darul Uloom Trinidad and Tobago has been established since 1984 for the support of the Deen of Allah. We ask Allah to bless the founder and former Principal, the late Mufti Shabil Ali (A.R) and his teacher the late Hazrat Maulana Abu Saood Sahab (A.R) who was the patron of the Darul Uloom. May Allah through His mercy and compassion have mercy on them, bless them and raise their status in Jannah. We also supplicate to Allah to bless all those

The drive of the Darul Uloom is taken from the verses of the Quraan: “If you help (the religion of) Allah, then Allah will help you”. Likewise, Allah says: “And support and assist towards righteous and piety and do not assist towards sins and transgression”.  The Darul Uloom therefore being the first tertiary Islamic educational Institute in Trinidad and the Caribbean is unique due to is high standards of education and other social and Islamic services especially to the Muslim community.

At present, the hundreds of students have graduated from the many different courses of Islamic as well as secular education on a part time and full-time basis. Our graduates are servicing the Muslims communities at various levels inclusive of Imamat, leading taraaweeh, teaching classes, administrative jamaat affairs, da’wah/outreach programs and other social services.

The Darul Uloom continues to provide the many educational courses as well as the various social and Islamic services due to the kind support and contributions of our Muslim community. Classes to the public are conducted free of charge.

These educational and social services have been funded by the kind contributions, donation and support our Muslim brothers and sisters who continue to support the Darul Uloom in many different ways and means.

May Allah continue to bless and reward all those who support His religion. Islam encourages us to spend for His religion as seen in the Quraan and Hadith:

• “Whosoever does a good then for him is tenfold in rewards.” (Quraan)
• you who believe! Spend of that which We have provided for you, before a Day comes when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession. And it is the disbelievers who are the Zâlimûn (wrong doers. (Quraan)
• The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allâh, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allâh gives manifold increase to whom He wills. And Allâh is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower. (Quraan)
• “Save yourself from Hell-fire even by giving half a date in charity.” ~ Bukhari
• A man asked the Prophet (PBUH), “O Allah’s Apostle! What kind of charity is the best?” He replied. “To give in charity when you are healthy and greedy hoping to be wealthy and afraid of becoming poor. Don’t delay giving in charity till the time when you are on the death bed when you say, ‘Give so much to so-and-so and so much to so-and so,’ and at that time the property is not yours but it belongs to so-and-so (i.e. your inheritors).” (Bukhari 4.11)

As the Darul Uloom T&T continues to work for the cause of Islam, we make a humble appeal to you for your kind assistance in whatever way possible. Your contribution is extremely significant to us, as it helps to carry on this great task.

There are many ways in which you can support and help, that will bring great rewards to you and will also be a means of continuous rewards for you after your demise.

You can donate/support (monthly / yearly or otherwise) towards:

• Running expenses like groceries, utility bills, office supplies, etc;
• Finance monthly/yearly cost for meals;

• Finance monthly/yearly maintenance expenses
• Sponsor monthly/yearly student(s) fees and other expenses;

• We accept your Zakaah and Sadaqah to be given to needy students;
