Paying zakaah in Ramadhan or otherwise

I pay my zakat only at Ramadan but I keep hearing to pay your zakaah all true the year, could you advise me as how do I pay zakat and when if only Ramadan or advise me please
Answer:
Wa Alaikum As Salaam,
Zakaah is compulsory only once for the year, hence, if you pay it in Ramadhan then this is sufficient. You do not have to pay it through the entire year. If you wish, you can give optional Sadaqah (charity) through the year.
