Zikrullah – Remembrance of Allah
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (RA) said we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (SAW) in a circle when a man came and give Salaams to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and the people (Assalaamu Alaikum). The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, Wa alaikumu Salam, Wa Rahmatulaahi wa barakaatu. So he sat and said:
“All praise is for Allah in abundance, pure and blessed, such as our Lord loves and is pleased with it.”
Upon this the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “what did you say?”, So he repeated it to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) jus as he said.
The Prophet (SAW) said, “By Him who holds my life in His Hand! Ten angels jumped towards this expression vying with each other to record it but they could not decide how they should write it down. So they consulted the One who possesses majesty and greatness (Allah) Who said to them, “Write the words down as My slave has spoken.”
