Is it ok for female to drive herself?

1) My first question is that whether it is permissible for a female to go around the city or for work when she is in full pardah with a driver who is a non mahrem male? With in the 48 miles
2) Is it ok for female to drive herself..???
Answer:
Wa Alaikum As Salaam,
1) No, it is not permissible for a female to go around the City with the driver alone who is a non-Mahram, even though she is in full pardah.
2) It is allowed for a female to drive her self when there is a need to do so.
