Delaying the Ramadhan fast of a nursing mother.

Question:

Is it permissible for a breastfeeding mother to delay her Ramadhan fast and make it up after?

Answer:

If a breastfeeding mother fears that by observing the fast it can harm the nursing baby, then it is permissible for her to delay the Ramadhan fasts and make it up afterwards.
