Can a person accept gifts for the birthday of his child?
Asalamualaikum.
It was my daughter’s 2nd birthday a few days ago, and my immediate family didn’t do anything to celebrate, but other family members because of her tender ages gifted us money, and gifts.
Are these permissible to accept?
