asalamualykum sir
i want to know about a home based job work, inDelhi a company is providing home based job work, which involves like information from jpg images and writing in word format. the company wanting security deposited of amount more the thousand rupees, i can’t believe the company and because it is possible that the company should not return the amount and make many frauds in India their are many frauds of company, sir i want know about the i deposited some amount on bank and take the interest of such amount and deposited the such amount to company for assignment job, after the when company returned my deposited amount i should give charity of the such interest amount which i taken from bank. Please give reply with quran and sunah. I want only earn halal income.

Answer:

Wa Alaikum As Salaam,

First of all, it the company is involved in fraud, then it will not be permissible for you to take up a job with them.

With respect to the interest money, you must give it in charity. It will not be permissible for you to use it. The Holy Quran has clearly stated, ‘O those who believe, give up what remains of Riba (interest/usury) if you are true believers (2: 278).

‘The Prophet (SAS) cursed the receiver and payer of interest, the one who records it and the two witnesses to the transaction and said, ‘They are all equal in sin’ (Muslim).
