Is eating pickles اچار permissible?
Question:
1. Is eating pickles اچار permissible? I have heard that we Muslims are not permissible to eat any thing that is packed for more than 40 days without any contact with air. Is this true?
2. Is there any Sunnah Way of extinguishing Candle? one of my friend told me that extinguishing candle by blowing air from mouth is not permissible?

Salaams,
1) Yes, it is permissible to eat pickles.
2) You can blow-out the candle or use your hand as a fan to extinguish it.
