Giving flowers to a deceased person.
Q. Is it haraam to give a flower to a person that has passed away?
A. Giving flowers to a deceased is not from the teachings of Islam. Instead, it is from the customs and practices of the non-Muslims, and we have been ordered to refrain from following them. Hence, it will not be permissible for you to give the deceased a flower.
