Is Video Calling Jaaiz?
Question: Asalaamualaikum wa rehmatullahi wa barakatuhu mufti sahab..
Is video calling permissible if done with one’s mahram..is it not the same as a person standing infront of the mirror, as long as he stands infront of the mirror he can see his image and when he moves away the image also vanishes…
Like wise in video calling as long as both are infront of the camera , they can see each other and when they move away from camera the image also goes away…
It is not like digital phitography which captures the image….
So kindly suggest whether video calling is permissible or not..
