Listening to Quran while doing chores.
Q. Is it permissible to listen to the Quran being recited from an audio while being engaged in some other activity?
A. Allah Has ordered us in the Holy Quran to be silent and listen attentively, when the Quran is being recited. Being engaged in some activity prevents a person from fulfilling these orders, and hence, it will not be proper to play the Quran on audio while engrossed in work/chore/activity.
