MAKING DIAGRAMS OF BACTERIA/FUNGI ETC.
QUESTION:
As Salaamu Alaikum,
Does making figures of bacteria, fungi 1) like yeast also constitute figure making? 2)I know out of necessity it is permissible to make diagrams of animals. So in exams it would be allowed if question asks but when making notes for study is it permissible to make diagrams?
ANSWER:
Wa Alaikum As Salaam,
It is permissible to draw diagrams/figures of bacteria, fungi and yeast etc. These do not fall under the prohibited drawing of figures/diagrams/pictures.
Therefore, even if one is not doing it for an exam or medical science, it will be permissible to draw such diagrams/figures.
