MINING CRYPTO CURRENCY VIA A PC

Question:
I wanted to know if mining crypto currency via a PC is allowed? Mining with a PC involved a program on the PC that is running an it uses graphic cards on the PC to do the mining with.

Crypto currencies are still relatively recent, and as such there are many unanswered questions regarding them.
While there are some scholars who have permitted crypto currencies, the majority of our expert Jurists have said that they do not consider it to be a permissible means of currency, at this time.
Thus, they have advised against getting involved with Crypto Currencies.
The Islamic Expert in Finance, Hazrat Mufti Taqi Usmani Sahib has said that he does not recommend it at this time.
With this in mind, in the current circumstances, we would advise against getting into crypto mining.
