Quranic ayaah in a wedding invitation.
Q. Are we allowed to place an ayaah of the Quran or a Hadith in a wedding invitation card or can we put the English translation?
A. Putting the Arabic Quranic verse on these cards will not be proper, since these cards will eventually be thrown away, which will then bring about disrespect to the Holy Quran. It is permissible to put the English translation alone.
