Requirements for a foreign student after acceptance
1) Student must travel on a one-year open ticket
2) Student must walk: with money for the following: –
- X-RAY:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â $ 50.00 US
- MEDICAL: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â $ 21.00 US
- STUDENT VISA: Â Â Â Â Â Â $ 60.00 US (STUDENTS FROM CARICOM)
- STUDENT VISA: Â Â Â Â Â Â $ 140.00 US (STUDENTS FROM NORTH AMERICA, AND REST OF THE WORLD.)
- BOOKS: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â $ 150.00 US
- MATTRESS & PILLOW:Â Â Â Â Â $ 110.00 US
- LOCKER/CUPBOARD: Â Â Â Â $ 300.00 US
3) Â Students must provide their own personal items such as, sheets, blankets, soap, towels etc.
4) Â Student must come with money to cover personal necessity and medical illness.
5) Students between the ages of 16 and 18 years old are required to bring a custody letter signed by a Judge from the Magistrate Court and their birth certificate.
6) After acceptance, a student’s acceptance letter is sent to the student. This acceptance letter must be presented to the Immigration officer at the airport upon entry to Trinidad and Tobago. Passport information is needed to issue this letter.
