SAYING INTENTION ALOUD IS NOT BID’AH
QUESTION:
As Salaamu Alaikum,
Is saying intentions aloud a bida If not, what are the daleel for doing it?
ANSWER:
Wa Alaikum As Salaam,
Simply saying an intention aloud is not a Bidah, if one does it to teach others who may not know how to make an intention.
If however, one does it believing that it is an established practice in Islam which must be done, then it become a Bidah practice.
