Question: Salam,
I wanted to know if the Prophet (pbuh) will marry someone from a later generation in Jannah. I have read a lot of different hadiths from different websites and they say he will marry Maryam alaihas salam. I’m sorry if this is a bad question, it just came across my mind. thanks for the reply.

Wa Alaikum As Salaam,
Hafiz Ibn Katheer has highlighted traditions mentioned by Abu Al Qaasim At Tabrani in his Al Mujam Al Kabeer, Hafiz Ibn Asakir and Abu Bakr Al Hazali regarding the Prophet’s (s.a.w) marriage to Maryam (A.S) and Aasiyah (the wife of Firawn) in Jannah. However, he (Ibn Katheer) has satated that these are all weak narrations. (Tafseer Ibn Katheer Vol. 4 Pg. 500- Kutub Khana Karachi-Commentary of verse 5 of Sura At Tahreem).
