What benefits are derived from reading the English or transliteration of the Quran?

Wa Alaikum As Salaam

The main reason is to make it easy for people who do not know the Arabic language to read the Arabic of the Quraan. The Transliteration do not give an accurate way of pronouncing the words/letters of the Quraan, however, many people benefit from it. It is commonly seen that people who read the transliteration make many mistake while reciting the Quraan, those who have learnt surahs in this manner should recite these surahs to one who knows the proper way of reciting, so that they can correct their mistakes. Muslims who read from the transliteration should make an effort to learn to recite the Quraan directly from the Arabic so that they may stop depending on the transliteration since many mistakes are made while reading in this manner.
