Will clipping of nails and cutting of hair affect the Qurbaani?

Q: What would happen if someone takes part in Qurbaani and then on the first day of Dhul Hijjah they cut their hair, keep in mind they knew they cannot do this but still went ahead and cut their hair. Jazakallaah khair
