Salat-un-Nabi from an Ahmadiyya Website

Question:

I have downloaded Salat-un-Nabi (Durood Shareef) from a Ahmadiyya Website I don’t know who is the reciter whether he is Muslim or non Muslim. is Listening to such Audio clips Permissible in Islam. The wording of This Audio clip is clear and it is Durood-e- Ebrahim and i found no mistake in it. is listening to such clips permissible in Shari’a?

Answer:

As Salaamu Alaikum,

The reciter on the Ahmadiyya’s website may predominantly be an Ahmadi or a Qadiani, and according to the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah, they are non- Muslims. Hence, taking this into consideration, it will not be permissible for you to listen to such recitals from non Muslims which is part of our Ibadah. When these are recited by non-Muslims, they bear no Imaan, no sincerity and no meaning.

If the reciter is an Ahmadi, then it is highly possible that the Darood Ibraheem is read in favour of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and not the Prophet Muhammad (SAS). So be careful of this.
