Du’a When Leaving the Home

Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) said, “The Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when he would come out of his house, he would say:

Bismillah Tawakaltu Alallah. Allahumma inna na’udhu bika an adhilla aw udhalla, aw azilla aw uzalla, aw azlima aw uzlama, aw ajhala aw yujhala ‘alayyna.

In the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from going astray, or being led astray, from slipping, or being caused to slip, from wronging others or being wronged, and from behaving or being treated in an ignorant manner. (Tirmizi)
